Winning Match 6 ticket worth $1.2 million marks the 27th winning ticket sold at a Rutter’s since April 2007.
A jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth nearly $1.2 million from the Sept. 13 drawing was sold at the Rutter’s Farm Stores at 35 N. Main St., Jacobus, York County.
This is the second $1million winning ticket sold at Rutter’s this year. The first, a Poweball ticket, was sold in Waynesboro, Pa. in mid-April.
From April 2007 through September 2012, 27 tickets worth $100,000 or more we sold at Rutter’s stores. These tickets bring the lottery winnings for Rutter’s customers to nearly $9.5 million.
This week’s winning ticket matched all six winning numbers, 10-14-16-33-34-48, to win the jackpot, which has been growing since the Aug. 2 drawing, which is the last time one ticket matched all six numbers.
In 2004, Rutter’s sold a winning ticket to what was, at the time, the largest Powerball jackpot in history totaling $221.5 million dollars. The prize was split with a second winner from South Carolina.
