Bank of America Promotes Cash Back Deals

Bank America encourages customers and retailers to take part in its BankAmeriDeals.

Bank of America released its online and mobile cash back deals program nationally, so that with the click of a button, customers can choose deals they want through the company’s online banking and mobile banking app.

With BankAmeriDeals, customers can get deals from a variety of retail categories in online banking, offers via mobile apps, cash back in their accounts and other rewards.

The program has been rolling out in phases throughout the U.S., and has delivered more than 130 million cash back deals to customers. The program is free for online banking and mobile banking customers.

“As we’ve rolled out the program, our customers’ feedback is that they like the ease and convenience of it,” said Aditya Bhasin, consumer marketing and online and mobile executive for Bank of America. “They don’t have to clip, print or remember any coupons or codes since the cash goes right into their accounts, plus they love getting cash back in addition to other rewards.”

The program offers cash back deals from different retail categories such as discount department stores, fast food chains and casual dining restaurants. Aeropostale, The Body Shop, FedEx Office, AutoZone, Redbox and the Atlanta Braves are some of the merchants currently involved in the program.

“We can now easily extend relevant Redbox offers to consumers whent hey review their debit or credit card transactions online or through their mobile banking app,” said Mark Achler, senior vice president of New Business, Innovation and Strategy at Redbox.

Bank of America provides services throughout the U.S. to 56 million consumer and small business relationships with about 5,600 retail banking offices and 16,200 ATMs.
