TravelCenters of America serves free, home-cook style meals to veterans who served the nation on July 4.
TravelCenters of America (TA) wants to invite veterans and active duty military to enjoy a free meal on Independence Day, July 4 at participating TA ad Petro Stopping Centers sit-down restaurants.
The company plans to honor the men and women who have made sacrifices through serving for the U.S. The meals can be enjoyed at more than 170 participating Iron Skillet, Country Pride and other full-service restaurants with TA and Petro Stopping Centers.
“We understand that military personnel sacrifice their personal and family time being in the armed forces, doing what needs to be done to keep America safe,” said Tom O’Brien, president and CEO of TA. “Our goal is to recognize and honor veterans and those who are currently serving on Independence Day by providing this service to them.”
Military members can receive a meal of their choice for up to $15 by showing their proof of service to their service prior to ordering a meal. Either a U.S. uniform services ID card, retired ID card, current leave and earnings statement, veterans organization card, photograph in uniform, DD214 or citation will work.
TravelCenters of America, headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, operates in 41 states and Canada with a total of 238 locations.
