Experienced marketing professional joins Kum & Go’s senior management team.
David Miller has been named Kum & Go’s new senior vice president of marketing.
In his role as senior vice president of marketing, Miller is responsible for providing executive leadership and management of Kum & Go’s marketing organization, which includes: Category Management, Communications, Food Service and Merchandising. He also will be leveraging strategic relationships on behalf of the company.
According to Kum & Go President and CEO Kyle Krause, it was Miller’s extensive experience within the retail industry along with his deep understanding of consumer insights that made him the perfect fit for the marketing executive position.
“Kum & Go is experiencing tremendous growth across the 11 different states in which we do business. I am excited to have David join our marketing team. His experience and wealth of knowledge in the retail industry will allow him to make an immediate impact at Kum & Go,” stated Krause.
Miller’s marketing career spans major corporations, such as Target and Maytag. Most recently, he served as vice president of marketing and sales for Iron Horse Interactive. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Miller received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. He went on to obtain his Master of Management in marketing and finance from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. A native of Bettendorf, Iowa, Miller and his wife are happy to be returning to the state with their children.
Kum & Go operates more than 400 convenience stores in 11 states (Iowa, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Wyoming).
