Shell and Excentus team up to help customers save as much as $3 per gallon of gasoline in two Florida markets.
Shell’s new rewards program with the Fuel Rewards Network (FRN) allows consumers in the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-areas to save cents-per-gallon on gasoline.
The new loyalty program has kicked off in the two Florida markets. Customers can save as much as $3 off per gallon of gas. Consumers can earn rewards through everyday purchases of things such as food, clothing and household goods from places like Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Online Mall, Bass Pro Shops, BestBuy.com and Sears.com. The fuel savings can be redeemed for fuel saving at nearly 160 local participating Shell stations.
The FRN program, developed and operated by Excentus, is unique because it lets local consumers combine or stack their multiple rewards offers. It is free for local consumers, as long as they pick up a Fuel Rewards Network card at any one of the participating locations and activate it at fuelrewards.com to start earning rewards to save at the pump.
“Shell knows more consumers are looking for a smart loyalty rewards program that can help them save money at the pump without having to jump through hoops or sacrifice their quality of fuel,” said Dan Little, Shell North American Fuels marketing manager. “That’s why teaming up with Excentus on this revolutionary rewards program is so exciting because it empowers local consumers to never pay full price at the pump again.”
