Hunt Brothers Pizza to be official pizza of five Minor League Baseball teams.
Hunt Brothers Pizza is set to be the official pizza provider for five Minor League Baseball teams for the 2012 season.
In addition to renewing its partnership with the Lexington Legends, Gwinnett Braves and Jackson Generals, the company has added new partnerships with the Nashville Sounds and Memphis Redbirds this year.
“Hunt Brothers Pizza is thrilled to be the official pizza of these five teams for the 2012 season,” said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. “Baseball is one of the great American family pastimes, and as a family-built company we are honored to help create a fun, family-oriented experience at the ballpark by offering great tasting, quality pizza at an affordable price.”
Hungry baseball fans at all five parks can choose from a large 12-inch pizza for the whole family or a single-serving Hunk-A-Pizza topped with cheese or pepperoni. New boneless WingBites and bone-in Wings will be available in select ballparks. In addition, the company will offer a variety of promotions throughout the season for free pizza and baseball tickets.
As the nation’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience store industry, Hunt Brothers Pizza is well known among convenience store customers in urban and rural markets alike. Since its first MiLB partnership in 2010, Hunt Brothers Pizza has had tremendous success expanding from its well-known presence in the convenience store industry into MiLB parks.
“Our presence in MiLB gives us a great opportunity to reach customers who may not regularly visit our locations,” said Solsvig. “We think once fans get a taste of our delicious pizza at ball games, they will visit their local convenience stores to pick up our pizza, Wings and WingBites any night of the week.”
