Thanasi Foods LLC has announced the conversion of its DUKE’S Brand of Beef Jerky, Steak Strips and Beef Brisket Strips to all-natural ingredients. In addition to being preserved by all-natural ingredients, the switch to all natural will include the removal of hydrolyzed soy protein, MSG, erythorbate and sodium nitrites. The initiative keeps up with DUKES’ small batch promise to make jerky the way it should be made, “in small batches with simple and clean ingredients.” The all-natural DUKE’S lineup now includes Original Angus Beef Jerky, Black Magic Peppered Beef Jerky, FRANK’S REDHOT Cayenne Pepper Beef Jerky, FRANK’S REDHOT Chile ‘N Lime Steak Strips, Jim Beam Bourbon Glaze Steak Strips, Jim Beam Hickory Smoked Beef Jerky, Stubb’s Spicy Bar-B-Q Beef Brisket Strips, Kikkoman Teriyaki Beef Jerky.
