Employees Shan Muhammad and Steve Vieira win association awards.
VERC Enterprises, which operates 24 convenience stores throughout Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, announced that two of its store managers have earned awards of excellence from the New England Convenience Store Association (NECSA).
Shan Muhammad, manager of the VERC Commerce Way Mobil in Plymouth, Mass., has been named NESCA’s Retail Operations Award winner.
Steve Vieira, Manager of the Fitchburg Mobil, also in Massachusetts, is the recipient of NESCA’s Community Service Award.
Muhammad and Vieira will be honored at NESCA’s Store Operator of the Year awards banquet on March 20th at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.
The awards program is designed to recognize outstanding individuals who set the standard of excellence for the convenience store industry throughout New England.
“The NESCA awards honor the best of the best in our industry,” said Leo Vercollone, President of VERC Enterprises. “We are proud, but certainly not surprised, that Shan and Steve will take home these prestigious awards of excellence.”
