Newly acquired location to undergo renovations this spring.
NOCO Express, a family-owned and operated gasoline convenience store chain headquartered in Tonawanda, N.Y., has entered Wayne County.
NOCO has acquired the lease for Prime Convenience, a 3,333 square foot store located at 1241 State Route 31 in Macedon effective March 1, 2012. The addition of the Macedon location will bring the total number of NOCO Express stores to 33.
“As a locally owned and operated company, we are excited to expand our operations and introduce NOCO Express to Wayne County and Rochester’s eastern suburbs,” said Michael Newman, executive vice president of operations for NOCO Energy Corp. “We look forward to offering the Macedon community a new and convenient option for all of their on-the-go needs. In order to better meet the needs of our customers with expanded product and service offerings, the store will undergo renovations in the next few months.”
Additional details about the renovations will be announced in the coming weeks, but the remodel will include an updated store decor and the installation of a beer cave. The fuel station located in the parking lot adjacent to the store will remain Valero-branded. The new NOCO Express will employ nine people.
This is the second NOCO Express in the Rochester region. The company owns and operates a convenience store and fuel station in Webster. In addition to gasoline convenience, NOCO also offers natural gas and energy services to commercial and residential customers throughout Rochester and its surrounding suburbs.
