The newest flavor features a chocolate cookie base with a layer of chocolaty fudge drizzled in milk chocolate. New Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Fudge Crunch complements the growing line of Sweet Rewards bars, which also includes 7-Layer and Turtle varieties. The 1.95-ounce bar has a suggested retail price of $1.39. Contributing to growth in the bar category, Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards bars have seen sales of $2.1 million after only six months in the market, according to IRI AllScan Convenience Store Data for the 52 weeks ended July 10, 2011. Likewise, Betty Crocker has grown to become the fourth largest brand in the bakery segment in this same time period. A recent survey showed more than 88% of consumers that tried the bar would “definitely” or “probably” purchase the Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Fudge Crunch Bar.
