Ribbon cutting, check presentation and prize giveaways planned as part of the new store celebration.
A Stripes convenience store and gas station is opening on Jan. 6 at U.S. 281 in Marble Falls, Texas, The River Cities Daily Tribune Online reported.
A grand opening event is set to include a ribbon cutting at 501 U.S. 281 North at noon, where community leaders and the Stripes mascots will join the celebration. The company plans to present a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes, Marble Falls Unit, to further commemorate the new store. Free food samples from the Laredo Taco Co. and prize giveaways will greet attendees.
Stripes is part of the Corpus Christi, Texas-based Susser Holdings Corp., which operates more than 530 convenience stores in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
