Annual fundraiser beat last year’s charity goal by 6.4%.
The Wyatt Brothers, co-owners of Geo.H Green Oil in Fairburn, Ga., have announced the results of their annual fundraising event that raised $25,000 for Atlanta’s Empty Stocking Fund, Newman’s Welcome House and Fairburn’s In His Great Name Ministry.
“We are so pleased and proud to report that through the combined efforts of fantastic truck stop employees, a great office team, and helpful vendors and dealers, along with the great assistance of loyal customers, that we have surpassed last year’s $23,500 charity goal by 6.4%, finishing up with a very robust $25,000 for the children, the Wyatt Brothers said in a statement. “Take pride in the fact that, despite the most troubled economy of our lifetime that this year’s record breaking fund raising total assured that some 1,136 innocent children woke up on Christmas morning to toys and educational materials rather than an empty stocking. We are so proud of your efforts in supporting Atlanta’s Empty Stocking Fund, Newman’s Welcome House and Fairburn’s In His Great Name Ministry—Job Well Done!”
