Terrible’s Rewards Veterans

“Our armed service personnel do so much for our country, that we wanted to do our part to recognize their service and say thank you on Veterans Day,” says Terrible’s spokesperson.

To celebrate Veterans Day, Terrible’s Car Wash continued a Las Vegas tradition it began years ago. To show its support and gratitude for our armed forces personnel, Terrible Herbst on Friday Nov. 11, rewarded U.S. military veterans and armed forces for their amazing service with a free car wash.

Military veterans and active military service personnel who stopped by any of Terrible’s 17 manned car wash locations in Las Vegas anytime on Friday, Nov. 11, received a free basic full service or basic exterior car wash.

Military service personnel and military veterans just needed to show their military ID to receive their complimentary wash; one wash per military ID.

“Our armed service personnel do so much for our country, that we wanted to do our part to recognize their service and say thank you on Veterans Day,” said Scott Horner, director of car wash operations for Terrible Herbst.

Terrible Herbst consists of over 18 car washes, 19 lube locations, and more than 100 convenience store/gas stations in the Las Vegas area.

I guess this was a little late getting released for all of us to read about, but as an Industry I hope more retailers were making special offers to our veterans and active Military for all of the sacrifices they and their families make so we all have the freedoms we have by being citizens of this great country!  For generations those who serve have given time, blood, and lives for us, so a Free Car Wash, Free Food, Free Coffee are all small ways we can show our appreciation!

So to the Herbst Family of Nevada: Thanks for taking the time, making the effort, and giving up some profit for a day!

It is a great gesture and a really smart way to promote your business to your Local, Regional, & even National audience!
