Applause TV allows PC&F to entertain customers, while providing advertising and couponing to enhance site-specific promotions.
Pacific Convenience & Fuels LLC (PC&F) is set to install Gilbarco Applause TV with Outcast as the standard digital forecourt marketing solution for its new locations.
PC&F already has systems installed at some California and Colorado locations and is in the process of installing Applause TV at the highly visible Denver International Airport location.
“Applause TV provides us with a strong technology solution to engage consumers and easily adjust our message on a site-by-site basis,” said Tony Grossi, construction manager at PC&F. “It was also important to us to offer consumers coupons at the forecourt during the fueling session to enhance our site-specific promotions and national content from Outcast. This ability separated Applause TV from the other solutions we considered.”
Applause TV allows retailers to entertain and inform their customers, while providing them with reasons to come inside the store for higher margin purchases. The system delivers third party national advertising, retailer advertising, news and entertainment content on the large color screens embedded within the gas pump, along with consumer interaction and on-demand coupons at the fuel dispenser.
Fully-managed programming includes content from CBS, ABC, Comedy Central, Warner Bros. Pictures and more than 20 other premier content providers, as well as community-oriented content, including Amber Alerts.
“PC&F is a leading retailer in the industry and we are excited to help them achieve their business goals with Applause TV,” said Mark Williams, marketing manager, fuel dispenser applications at Gilbarco Veeder-Root. “Applause TV remains the first and only interactive, turnkey forecourt digital media solution available to any site, anywhere in the U.S. We look forward to collaborating with PC&F to evolve the features/capabilities of this new and exciting forecourt marketing channel over time.”
PC&F operates gas stations and convenience stores in California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington. The company is the largest Circle K franchisee with more than 200 branded stores.
