Listed at No. 4372, Kum & Go moves up more than 200 spots since last year.
Kum & Go officials announced the company’s inclusion, for the third straight year, in the Inc. 5000, a ranking of the 5000 fastest growing privately-held companies in America.
The results of the fifth annual Inc. 5000 revealed that Kum & Go was ranked 4,372 out of 5,000. Kum & Go moved up more than 200 places since last year.
“We are excited to be selected to the Inc. 5000 for the third straight year. Our continued success and growth is directly attributed to our dedicated associates and loyal customers,” stated Kum & Go president and CEO Kyle Krause.
Kum & Go employs 4,000 associates and operates more than 400 stores in 11 states. The company recently expanded its presence into central Arkansas and is known for sharing 10 percent of its profits with charitable and educational causes each year.
According to Inc. magazine, there are nearly seven million, employee-based firms in America and only the very best are awarded the distinction of being named to the “Inc. 5000” list – “the gold standard of entrepreneurial success.” The Inc. 5000 is an annual list of the top 5000 private companies in the US. The rankings are based on the percentage of increase in revenue over the previous three years for private companies that have been active for a minimum of four years.
Inc. Magazine, the publication that is responsible for the Inc. 5000, has been in production since 1979.
