Fueling Awareness Pink Ribbon Apparel Campaign Back for October 2011

GKdirect (formerly Lion Uniform Group) is excited to once again offer pink ribbon apparel this year for the annual Fueling Awareness, an Industry United for a Cure campaign. In workplaces across the country, employees will wear company-branded pink ribbon Awareness Apparel to show their commitment to a cure for breast cancer.

Many convenience stores large and small are offering their employees an opportunity this year to wear pink ribbon polos in place of their usual work attire for the month of October. The campaign’s founding partners include Gulf Oil, Shell, Spirit, Pure Oil, Chevron and Texaco. No matter the size of your company, we can add your company’s logo to your pink ribbon items.

Available items include black and pink sport performance polo shirts, baseball caps, and soft shell zip front performance jackets. All items are designed to be customized with corporate branding.

10% of the purchase price of every pink ribbon item will go directly to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® fund, on behalf of the purchaser. GKdirect is proud to have coordinated a donation total of more than $22,500 in the campaign’s first two years. Donations have gone to both the Susan G. Komen for a Cure ® Foundation and American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fund. Gkdirect is eager to partner with Making Strides again this year as a Survivorship level corporate sponsor.
