Gulf Oil Partners With GoGo Cast

GoGo Cast Go-Screen’s to deliver leading digital merchandising technology that enhances point-of-purchase product promotions at more than 2,500 locations.

Gulf Oil L.P. and GoGo Cast Inc., a provider in dynamic content and digital merchandising in the Digital Out of Home (DOOH) space, have started an in-store collaboration that calls for select installations of GoGo Cast’s dynamic digital sign and advertising solutions in over 2,500 convenience store locations to begin in May 2011.

GoGo Cast’s Go-Screens offer a digital sign and advertising solution for convenience stores by providing significant and useful information to engage customers. Gulf Oil plans to use GoGo Cast’s exclusive customer and location data to create streaming content that is tailored for its locations. This solution gives Gulf Oil’s network of dealers the ability to reach a captive in-store audience by delivering practical and effective messages at precisely the right time to help influence buying decisions directly at the point-of-purchase.

The elite digital displays enhance customers’ in-store experience and help them make smart purchasing decisions and have a greater awareness of sale prices and special promotions. Vendors will benefit from an additional opportunity to highlight key selling points, complementing traditional point-of-purchase advertising. Gulf locations are expected to see a significant increase in sales for products advertised on the screens in the select retail outlets where they are installed.
