E-cigarettes are a big trend on the show floor, with several new manufacturers showcasing electronic products.
The Tobacco Plus Expo International (TPE) opened in Las Vegas on March 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, bringing together a broad array of tobacco, tobacco products and accessories under one roof.
On the show floor, the major trend was e-cigarettes, with several manufacturers launching new e-cigarette products. Cigarillos were also prominently displayed at a number of booths.
The show runs through March 3, and is featuring more than 150 exhibitors, including more than 40 new exhibitors. TPE 2011 also is welcomeing exhibitors from across the world, including from China, The Netherlands, Spain, Egypt, Taiwan, Sweden, Jordan and Canada.
TPE 2011 also marks the debut of the TPE Masters Charity Golf Tournament, which was held on March 1, before the show officially opened. Each registrant enjoyed a light breakfast, practice play and 18 holes of golf at the Silverstone Golf Club. The day was capped off with an Awards Cocktail Reception and Charity Auction with proceeds benefiting the Cigar Rights of America, an organization playing an increasingly vital role in fighting for cigar smokers’ rights.
This year’s lineup of Conference Sessions is covering topics such as:
•Turning Your Tobacco Business into a Profitable Brand
•Cigars – A Perspective Seldom Seen
