CHEP’s PLUS PS pallet is in full compliancewith the International Standard Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM 15) guidelines putforth by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) regarding theregulation of wood and wood packaging in international trade. These guidelineshelp prevent the introduction and spread of pests through solid wood packaging, including pallets. As of February 2006, pallets used in intercontinentalshipping must be properly treated and marked, or risk denial of entry andpossibly destruction of the pallet and its contents.

CHEP can provide companies with a quality assuredphytosanitary compliant pallet that meets these new standards and will ensureimporters are not denied entry of goods using wood packaging. CHEP PLUS PSpallets are easily distinguishable as a properly treated pallet that meetsthese new import specifications.
