Marathon Oil Corp. recently recognized Everbrite LLC., a visual identification supplier for Marathon’s Speedway SuperAmerica LLC retail organization, as the company’s Supplier Diversity Vendor of the Year.
The annual “Living Our Values Award and Recognition Program” recognizes employees and vendors who best exemplify Marathon’s guiding corporate principles.
Everbrite, a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) company, won first place in the Supplier Diversity category; 107 worldwide nominations were submitted for all categories. The company was judged on its workforce diversity, customer service, innovation and technical expertise. For example, the engineering and manufacturing of a digital price sign that changes when the price on the pump is changed, providing station managers with nearly real-time pricing flexibility to remain competitive and profitable.
Everbrite also engineered a Web-based program that allows field sales people and selected customers to create their own signage illustrations electronically and price them immediately, thereby shortening the quote time from days to minutes.
“Everbrite has been a trusted supplier for over 20 years and continues to demonstrate outstanding business leadership. Their passion, collaboration, and commitment to innovation and overall operational excellence have helped build Marathon’s identity,” said Clarence P. Cazalot, Jr., president and CEO of Marathon Oil Corp.
The Marathon “Living Our Values Award” has been presented annually to employees and suppliers who have made outstanding contributions in the categories of ethics/integrity, health, environment and safety, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy/community outreach, diversity, and supplier diversity. This year, the award was given to 15 winners in 12 different categories.
“We are truly honored to receive this award and to be a valued supplier to this world-class corporation,” said Mark Latus, Everbrite customer service manager. “We look forward to continuing our successful partnership.”
