Gulf Oil Limited Partners has entered a multi-year sponsorship deal with Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves, The Boston Globe reported.
The agreement will allow Gulf a presence at Turner Field, the home of the Atlanta Braves, where rotational signage, displaying Gulf’s “Sunrise” logo will appear behind home plate for all Braves home games.
“We want to provide tangible evidence to our new branded distributors and retail customers that Gulf is back-and moreover we are committed to staying long term in these new markets,” Gulf Oil senior vice president and chief sales and marketing officer Rick Dery said in a statement. “We believe that this high-profile presence in Atlanta clearly shows our determination to support the brand in new and important areas of the country.”
Headquartered in Framingham, Gulf Oil Limited Partnership distributes motor fuels to more than 2,000 branded gasoline retail centers, 12 proprietary oil terminals, and a network of more than 70 other supply terminals.
