Hess Launches ’Gas Giveaway’ for East Coast Drivers

Hess, the leading independent gasoline convenience store marketer on the Eas Coast, has launched Hess Gas Giveaway, an online contest for residents of 12 states to win up to a year’s worth of free gas.

Residents 18 years of age or older who live in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina  and Vermont can enter the contest once a day through March 31 just by registering online at www.hessexpress.com.

Contestants are eligible to instantly win a $50 Hess gas card and receive special offers. All contestants will be automatically entered to win the grand prize-free gas for a year awarded as a $2,000 Hess gas card.  During the contest, 21 winners will receive the $50 Hess gas cards. The drawing for one grand prize winner will take place in early April.

According to Rick Lawlor, vice president of Retail Sales and Marketing for Hess Corporation, the Hess Gas Giveaway reflects what the Hess retail brand is all about – great value and friendly service.

“Coming into the New Year, we thought a free gas contest would be a fun way to introduce Hess to new customers and show our appreciation to existing customers,” said Rick Lawlor, vice president of retail sales and marketing for Hess.

About 1,350 Hess branded locations operate in 16 East Coast states from New Hampshire to Florida.
