Other features include an EverCheck alert system, which sounds an audible warning when the machine is in need of service, and the CycleSaver design, which allows the unit to produce the same quantity of ice in about half as many cycles as competitor units. In addition, the ice machines have fewer moving parts and cycles, which means dependability, longer machine life and energy savings. Both comply with California Energy Commission guidelines (CEC) Tier 3, and are Energy Star Certified. Hoshizaki’s automated facilities manufacture complete lines of icemakers, dispensers, refrigerators/freezers and related accessories.
