Mark VII Equipment Inc., the US subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, has acquired the assets of its distributor Atlantic Wash Systems.
Atlantic Wash Systems has sold and serviced Mark VII carwash systems throughout the Carolinas since 1971.
The company, which was founded by Mitch Lancaster, pioneered the concept of servicing all major brands of carwash equipment to address the needs of multi-site operators. Day-to-day operations will be integrated into Mark VII’s direct service organization, allowing Lancaster to focus 100% of his time on managing equipment sales. The direct operation will continue to be called Atlantic Wash Systems, a division of Mark VII.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Atlantic’s customers into the Mark VII family,” said Murray Kennedy, CEO of Mark VII. “Mitch has consistently been one of our strongest distributors, having built an installed base of several hundred Mark VII systems that we look forward to continuing to serve. Plus Atlantic’s ability to service competitors’ equipment fits perfectly with our strategy of providing one-stop servicing for key accounts.”
