Life is about to get a lot easier for busy Connecticut residents with the grand opening of a new Cumberland Farms in Farmington.
For those customers whose days typically include multiple stops around town for cash, a fresh sandwich, a hot coffee and a full gas tank, this flagship Cumberland Farms is a one-stop for all those things, and much more. Customers will notice the change right away as they step foot in the door. From a wide variety of sandwiches that can be toasted on site, to thick chocolate milkshakes, flatbread breakfast sandwiches and even personal pepperoni pizzas, the new menu is squarely focused on fresh food, and is steeped in the company’s farm-family heritage.
Convenience and Value
The store has a strong emphasis on coffee offering a wide range of traditional coffee shop choices like English Toffee Cappuccino and Chai, as well as Cumberland Farms own Farmhouse Blend. All of the hot beverages are just 99 cents.
Even with these changes, this is still the Cumberland Farms New Englanders grew up with. For those looking for a cold drink, the store also has Cumberland Farms signature Chill Zone, featuring frozen and fountain drinks for only 79 cents. And customers will continue to find staple items like milk and bread at great prices.
The new store layout makes for a quick and easy shopping experience as customers shop among hundreds of everyday necessities. The store also offers a surcharge-free ATM.
“Our goal is to make every day easier for people,” said Cumberland Farms President Ari Haseotes. “This new store turns the traditional idea of a convenience store on its head. With the new experience, we are bringing our customers great new products, at a great price, delivered by friendly people. It is our standard going forward.”
In a gesture to becoming a part of the community, Cumberland Farms is also donating $1,000 to the West Wood Upper Elementary School in Farmington, which will use the funds as part of its student activity account. Giving back to the communities where it operates has long been part of the company’s mission.
Cumberland Farms has been bringing value and convenience to Connecticut residents for years, and will continue to expand in the state when it opens its next new store in Deep River later in March.
