Reid Petroleum has opened a new Crosby’s convenience store in Ransomville, N.Y., the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal reported, while it was also announced that Reid Petroleum has selected FuelQuest to optimize its fuel management systems.
The new Crosby’s store is the 31st one to be opened by Reid Stores Inc., a division of the Reid Group, which owns Reid Petroleum.
Crosby’s convenience stores are located throughout upstate New York and western Pennsylvania.
The Lockport Union-Sun & Journal reported that the new store will serve pizza, made-to-order sandwiches, salads, signature calzones, jumbo chicken wings, premade subs, sandwiches and salads – all made fresh daily in the store’s Corner Cafe on the Go section. The store will also offer free Wi-Fi access and sell movies.
In other news, Reid Petroleum selected FuelQuest for its fuel management systems.
An on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, FuelQuest has entered a five-year agreement with Reid Petroleum for the use of its Fuel Management System (FMS).
“FuelQuest’s comprehensive, end-to-end approach to fuel management will limit our risk on a variety of levels,” said Mike McCarthy, vice president of operations for Reid Petroleum Corp. “We look forward to the savings and operational efficiencies driven by our implementation of FuelQuest’s FMS.”
