The owner of a heating company and c-store chain in Pennsylvania is teaming with a speedway owner in that state to give away free gas cards to 10 race fans, the companies said.
Jeff Powell, owner of heating and cooling provider JJ Powell and Snappy’s Convenience Stores, a nine-store chain in central Pennsylvania, is working with Central PA Speedway owner Tim Bainey to give away $50 gas cards during each event at the speedway this season.
“We’re really excited about this program with Central PA Speedway,” Powell said. “We’ve worked with the Baineys a lot in the past, they are good people, and I think they will do a lot of great things as new owners of the speedway.”
Central PA Speedway owner Tim Bainey echoed the same.
“We’re proud to be associated with everyone at JJ Powell and Snappy’s,” Bainey said. “They’re very supportive of the local communities throughout our region, and this is just another great way they are going to be helping people out. Advertising is one thing, but when he came to us with the idea of actually giving something back to the fans – that just fit our plans perfectly.”
For eligibility, speedway fans have to bring actual receipts from any Snappy’s Convenience Store to the track. Fans write their full name on the back of the receipt and drop it in the Snappy’s Box at the ticket gate. Each fan can drop off as many receipts as they like from any Snappy’s c-store.
The more frequently you visit Snappy’s, the better the chances of winning, the company said.
